Afrirent Holdings group of Companies, a market leader in fleet management and mobility solutions, is seeking to appoint a highly experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager to lead and optimise procurement across the Group, also including our hotels & leisure division.
This is a strategic role suited to a seasoned professional with deep expertise in the fleet industry, strong supplier networks, and a proven ability to drive cost efficiencies, compliance, and operational excellence.
Remuneration

Purpose of the Role
To lead, manage, and execute procurement strategies for goods and services across the Afrirent Group, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier optimisation, regulatory compliance, and alignment with operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to business objectives
- Drive cost optimisation, value creation, and supplier performance improvement
- Ensure procurement practices are fair, competitive, and compliant with legislation and internal policies
Fleet & Operational Procurement
- Lead sourcing and procurement of fleet-related goods and services (vehicles, maintenance, parts, telematics, fuel, etc.)
- Leverage industry knowledge to negotiate favourable commercial terms and agreements
- Monitor market trends and supplier pricing within the fleet sector
Supplier & Contract Management
- Build and manage a high-performing supplier network
- Oversee supplier onboarding, due diligence, and performance management
- Negotiate and manage contracts, SLAs, and service delivery standards
- Maintain and oversee the contracts and supplier register
Tender & Bid Management
- Support and advise bid committees and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all procurement documentation and processes meet audit and compliance standards
Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legislation, and BBBEE requirements
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks
- Support internal and external audit processes
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal departments to understand procurement needs
- Provide expert procurement guidance to business units
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers and industry stakeholders
