Job Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to locate new business leads and promote the organization’s products or services
- Pitch new and improved products and services to existing clients and customers of the organization and convince them to buy new products and services.
- Sell existing products or services to new customers.
- Managing several accounts and often being the face of the company to many clients. Managing different accounts; achieving high sales targets; building relationships with new clients and leading team productivity.
- Managing employer’s client relationships and providing clients with excellent service and support.
- Building new business relationships using existing industry contacts.
Role and Responsibilities
The Account Executive: FTS is responsible for the following:
- New Business Development and Sales
- Identify growth opportunities and participate with the sales team in an advisory capacity.
- Following up on possible new leads
- Create and maintain professional relationship with clients and be able to fulfil the role of trusted advisor
- Relationship Management between the Customer and Afrirent to maintain effective communication.
- Account Management
- Contract Management and ensure compliance.
- Account Plan Development
- Strong Understanding of Fleet Telematics;
- Full Maintenance Leasing – sales, operations, costing, presentations;
- Implementation of Best Practices in Fleet Management
- Tender/Bid Preparation and Presentations;
- Compiling of Project Definition Reports;
- Management of Disputes between Afrirent, Clients, and Suppliers.
- Negotiate Settlements in consultation with senior management
- Implementing of Projects;
- Ensure that approved project management standards and methodologies are adhered to.
- Leading, training, and managing other members of the account management team and dealing with any issues that may arise.
- Cost Management;
- Supplier Management;
- Strong SLA Management with Suppliers;
- Client Invoicing by ensuring monthly and correct Billing
- Debtors Book Management (Maintain Good Client Payments Record) or Prepare financial analysis report;
- Handling of queries (internally and externally);
- Conduct Monthly Meetings – Client Facing;
- Compile Monthly Client Reports;
- Prepare Reports for Executives;
- Attend tender briefings;
- Ensure proper completion of Tender Documents;
- Understanding of general technical response of tenders;
- Preparing proposals/write ups as and when required;
- Compliance with Service Level Agreement signed with clients;
- Co-ordination any temporary changes to service levels required.
- Own and drive service improvement
- Conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the entire service level process
- Execution and maintain of successful projects;
- Cost effective project management;
- Preparation of Profit and Loss of projects;
- Budget and Forecasting of New and Existing Projects;
- Maintaining Optimum Operational Levels;
- Grow revenue
- Assisting Other Divisions during peak periods
- Staff Sources and Placement on Projects
- Management and support to staff
Ad-Hoc Requirements
- Assist with various project where necessary;
- Assist Management Team with general company requirement as and when
Profit & Loss
- Responsible for the Profit and Loss of areas under direct control, and provide a monthly Management Report including financial reporting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum education: National Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
- Desirable education: Degree
Experience
- Minimum: 3-5 Years’ Experience in Fleet Management
- Desirable: Good understanding of Account Management
