Purpose Statement
To coordinate, monitor and communicate vehicle repair progress in order to minimise downtime, support vehicle availability and enhance clients’ experiences throughout the contract lifecycle.
The role is responsible for following up on vehicle repairs, updating internal systems, informing clients of vehicle status’s and collection readiness, tracking repair lead times against agreed OEM and operational standards and escalating delays where required.
The role also supports the recording and tracking of warranties, goodwill opportunities, loan vehicle requirements and downtime-related information to ensure accurate administration, improved turnaround times and reduced underutilisation of fleet assets.

Education (Formal Qualification Required)
Minimum
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
Ideal
Certificate (NQF level 5) in Fleet Management / Customer Service / Business Administration / Contact Centre Operations will be advantageous
Legal Requirements (e.g. Driver’s License, etc.) / Professional Registrations (if any)
Experience
Experience (Minimum Experience Required - type and number of years)
Minimum
2 years’ experience in fleet maintenance administration / vehicle repair coordination / contact centre support / downtime management
Ideal
3+ years’ experience in vehicle maintenance coordination / fleet administration
Exposure to OEM processes, goodwill claims, loan vehicle coordination and tracking repair lead times
Experience working with telematics, job cards, technical inspection processes and workshop follow-ups
